Raisekin is general information. It is not medical advice, and we are not clinicians.
What this site is
We gather what recognized health bodies publish, such as the NHS, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Dental Association, check it against the original, and lay it out clearly. We link to every source so you can read it for yourself.
What it is not
Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a doctor, nurse, dentist or pharmacist who knows your child.
Do not delay getting advice, or ignore advice you have been given, because of something you read here.
When to get help
If you are worried about your child, speak to your pediatrician or doctor. In the UK you can also call NHS 111.
If it is an emergency, call your local emergency number straight away.
Tools and charts
Our tools, such as the Baby Teeth Chart, show the typical ranges that health bodies publish. Every child is different, and a tool cannot account for yours. A result outside a range is not a diagnosis, and a result inside one is not a guarantee.
Sources and dates
Every guide lists its sources and the date we last checked it against them. Guidance changes. If a date looks old, check the original source or ask a professional.
Questions about your own child
We cannot answer questions about your own child. Please take those to someone who can see them.
